Another way to display turkey beards.
My neighbor showed me how to do this and i thought it was kinda neat so i tried it.. i thought it was a good idea. tell me what you think.

I did something almost like that, but instead of using the whole shell, I cut the plastic off even with the brass and knocked the primer out. I then made a loop out of some decoy line and placed it through the primer hole and then hot glued it into place along with my beard. The decoy line serves as a hanger loop.

well u take the shotgun shell that you shot the bird with and use it. cut the beard off the turkey to where there is a little bit of skin on there and let it dry out. (couple days) and i just put glue on dried skin and stuck it in there. mine isnt all the way done yet though, like Lung Blood said im goin to take decoy line and make a little hanger for it.

I do the same thing that Lung Blood does. I also cut the spurs off and thread them onto the string. It looks pretty cool. In my opinion anyway. :)
