Default Stealth Fusion - Beware

I bought a Stealth Fusion cellular game camera last year. It was easy to set up and took pretty good pictures and sent them to my phone. At the end of deer season, instead of keeping up the monthly subscription, I decided to suspend my subscription until turkey season. Stealth gives you the option to suspend your service on the " Command App " for your phone.
Well, I tried to restart my subscription for getting some gobbler pictures. I checked the app, there is no option to restart your subscription there. Called their support number that they list about 7 or 8 different times and found that you can't get through to anyone there either. Next I sent a couple of emails, hoping to get through that way. Nothing. I guess they don't mind taking your money, but if you suspend your service, you are pretty much done. Needless to say, I will never buy another Stealth or Muddy Camera of any kind. I am currently looking at a few other brands.

well, I have sadly never had any luck with ANY Stealth game camera, over the past 20+ yrs, I have bought about 10 different one's
and not a oen has worked right or lasted

I even stopped buying them back in say 2010 or so, and then, last Spring with corona crap startling up, local store had them on sale, and I bought another one, thinking OK< maybe they got better??
maybe try again

well, IT sucks as bad as all the other one's

90% of pictures are of NOTHING, camera just runs away raking a pic ever minute or 3 at NOTHING
or I get lucky and get something by accident as it is just taking pictures all the time

ONLY good thing I can say is, battery life is very good, got about 20,000+ pictures on original batteries? LOL
but have had way better luck with other camera brands, and won't EVER buy another Stealth cam again,
I'm glad some have luck, and good for you's

but for me?
I'll spend my $$ on other brands that I have better luck with

I bought the twin pack of cameras for Christmas last year. When I tried to set them up, I immediately had problems connecting to account. After replacement, the cameras worked fine for about 3 months but now both cameras are having issues. At startup, one camera would display green light for battery then red light for network and the other camera would display red light for battery right from start. I've tried changing batteries, changing SIM card, etc. Now both cameras show red light for network.

I tried calling GSM and waited on hold for 90 minutes before hanging up. Tried calling back numerous times and can never get through. No response to email. LiveChat shows GSM is "closed." Super frustrating.

Anyone have similar issues? Peak season and I'm without cameras right now. Awesome.

I'm not a stealth camera fan. I tried a couple of the less expensive models in a 2-pack and was unimpressed. Okay day pictures I guess and useless night pictures. I've never tried a muddy game cam so can't comment. Ive tried other game cameras and have also been less than impressed. Currently, I like Cabelas game cameras but am wondering how long they will be produced since BassPro bought them out.

I have been using Moultries for 14 yrs. Lost 2 but the majority still function as they should.
Recently i enteted the cellular camera market.
i have 2 Spypoint add ons. The SD card actually fits my Moultrie. It works. It turned my Moultrie into a cellular camera
I get 500 photos a month. So far no cost. I could upgrade to a pay program but im not impressed.
And finally i bought 5 Reveal X verizon vell cameras.
Now we are talking. They work awesome.
I have 2 in Northern Wi and 1 in upper Michigan.
Well worth the money. I will buy more.
However
The designed metal lock box that goes with the Reveal X camera is pure junk.
Really disappointed in those. No where near the quality of the Moultrie lock box.
I also have one old cuddy back. It still takes great pictures.
But i hate the D cell batteries it uses. And is why i went Tactacam Reveal X.
uses 12 AA.

So i pay 12 bucks per month.per camera. I can turn them off at anytime and stop my monthly fee

I get photos via smart phone 24/7.

Cell cameras would be nice but I'd worry about getting stuck with a bunch of pictures with the wind blowing trees and grass. JW, how does your spypoint plan work?
