New trail cam and picture.
#1

I haven’t posted a picture on here in at least a few years now. My old Prowler was attacked by a bear and it broke the door latches on it. It became a pain to use putting c clamps on it to keep the door closed tight. I just purchased a new Stealth Cam and I set it out back yesterday. I already had a doe show up on it. Anyway here is a picture from it.

<div style="text-align:left;">My trailcam has only been out for 2 nights and it has been piling on the pictures.. It caught a photo of my first buck as well. Granted it is only a spike but none the less a buck. </div>

I have been lucky with my camera and bears. I wore latex gloves, washed my hands, and handled camera before putting out bait. I also sprayed with scent killer after handling. I had 2 cameras out last time through late period. Had 3 cubs coming in too. Maybe just lucky. Will be starting my bait next week.

Good Luck with the baiting.. Mine was attacked by a sow with 2 cubs at the time..She had one eye and kept looking at the camera before she attacked it..It might have been because of the red glowing light the older IR cameras had I don't know? But what ever the reason was she very clearly attacked it. I do know of several others that have had theirs attacked by bears as well though..

I have heard of it too. People try various boxes and such.
Which is why I took so many precautions. I know they can hear them too. Maybe I got lucky. I had one on my hole and one on the barrel next to it. I may put a 3rd out this year farther from the site to see if I can see them coming down trail.

I had this one show up on my trail cam today. These things have been raiding my garden every year. They must have not liked my higher voltage on my fence this time around. But yes I did get some of them on my trail cams this time around..
