Humpback Bear
|
That is just because he has his head down and the position he is in, when he lifts it there won't be a hump.
|
But it still looks cool. :D
|
Is that the same bear you posted last time? Hard to tell from the pic.

OK, looks like you have some nice bear in your area.
|
Yeah, we always see a bunch of nice ones. Now, seeing them in bear season is an entirely different matter. Trail cameras are one thing..... :D

I agree NO hump back there at all, that's there natural look when feeding down or when front shoulders are out like that!
very hard to tell from that pic but I think its a different bear, front legs seem thinner to me on this one than that other one you posted I think PA is going to break the record on bear kills this yr if weather is good everyone I know is seeing tons of bears all over the state more then I have ever recalled I know I have had 12 different one's in my backyard this yr so far and I normally get a lot more come fall when my apple tree's start dropping apples I seem to draw them from pretty far last fall I had 16 in fall and only 9 in spring -summer most I had at once eating apples was 9! awesome sight to see that many bears together in a small area even mother with cubs and large males all within feet of each other!! bears are just cool critters if you ask me! |
I have 3 trail cams out and my buddy has one. Between those 4, I think we have seen maybe 12 different bears. Right now, there are a ton of blueberries and we have lots of blueberry bushes around us. I'm really not sure what they eat in late November.

Acorns, hickory nuts, carrion, roots wood worms(sawyers) etc, etc. Bears will eat anything that doesn't eat them.
