He's Still Growing!!!!!
Oh yeah, daylight pictures made all the difference. He is definitely not done at all.
If he is 4.5 years old, his best years may still be ahead of him. But he would be my career best and we surely don't have a fence to keep him here. :D
Oh he is a no doubter in my book. He won't score that great but he has the visual wow factor for sure.
You really ought to let him go for about 2 or 3 years. Keep shooting small bucks like him and you'll never see any good ones. :D ;)
He's going to be a great buck. I'd take him in a heartbeat. |
I don't think he'll score too bad. Main beam length and spread will give him decent numbers. But, too me, 140s is a great score. :D
We see Booners in PA from time to time, but they are pretty rare. Not like the mid-west. But, as we are getting older bucks and guys are supplementing nutrition, big bucks are getting more common. We had a lot of years of 1 million rifle hunters with the "brown and down" mentality and too many does. It was controversial, but herd reduction and antler restrictions have really worked in some nice bucks. |
