I think that spot is just a different light reflection from the camera flash, if you look in the lower right corner of the picture you can see a small area with the same color grass. I also think the bright light is a firefly.

The "Ghosthunters" would be all over this. Lol
|
Yep, you would be hearing,"what was that"? "Did you see that", "I know I saw a white mist"!
|
nope... it's aliens for sure!
we need to call some credible news sources to let the public know we're being invaded. lets start with the national enquirer and star magazine. |
Yeah...I'm gonna get right on that!

Hey suit yourself. Go out at night and photograph a firefly when they light up and the light will look a lot bigger and brighter on the camera then to your eyes.

Have you seen one bright enough to cause the weeds to light up for more than 4 days after it flashed?
Look at the sequence of pictures. I have had trail cameras for 10 yrs and never caught anything like this phenomenon. |
If your camera went off, something set it off and the flash from the camera was at the same place every time it flashed. If the reflection happened once it happened each time, the grass was not glowing the entire time, it refleced when the flash went off. There is a thing we call spook wood around here, which is wood that glows with phosphorescense at night as it rots. However, I doubt this is the case with your photos. You asked the question, if you don't like the answer, it isn't the messenger's fault.
