Recommendations for new cam for video/sound
 

Looking to spend about $200-$300 on new cam that supports sound on video. Wanting opinions on a cam that you own and have experience with not one you read about.
Does it support video at night? IR or flash?
Hows the battery life?
Hows the picture quality?

I would buy another Reconyx but really want to start getting into video with sound.

Like you I'm looking as well as one of my older cams may last till the end of the season. I have a 2010 Bushnell Trophy that takes video without sound. So with doing some research I came up with two, the Bushnell Trophy HD (blackout) and the Moultrie M990i (blackout). I contacted trailcampro.com with questions on both, the advantage of the Bushnell is battery life, for me this is the least of my concerns, cause the Moultrie will last months on the energizer lithium batteries, and the price tag is nearly $100 less then the Bushnell. So after the new year and hunting season when stores have sales I'm picking up two of the Moultrie M990i

I have a 2013 Covert Black 60 HD vid w/audio. About $200
Daytime video is awesome....night time is ok

By the way...I bagged the buck in the night video this morning :woot:

The only problem I had was,the night video's will be very short as the batteries get weaker.
