I'm a fan of the Covert cams (all of them) trigger speed while rated at 1 second has a wide field of view so yotes and such are normally not a problem to get, battery life is great 12,000+ pics without breaking a sweat on most models and the Red40 or Black60 will go 20K+

Boy I have had 2 Moultrie XDM80s out since November 2012 and they are still taking photos......battery life is about done - but wow! They are at 24% on 8 AA's

Am using it as a Trail cam.
