I found two different locations this winter that the deer are just pounding on public land.

so thinking about this yesterday...when do the deer drop their antlers? is it different for WI as say ID? Ive been looking and havent seen antlers out here...I havent gotten any bucks with antlers over the winter but I know they are around...as evidenced by rubs Ive found. I think theyve dropped them by now or they are just hiding lol

Depends on the deer. I know one buck who dropped them in DEC and some still have them. Just find the bedding areas and you'll find some. Easier typed then done. Good luck.

WI buck I'm moviung back to WI soon. Can't wait to get back in the woods. Looks like he gonna be a good one. Hopefully the wolves leave him alone.

I would be willing to bet that at least 95% have dropped their antlers by now. Walk slow and don't try looking too far. I don't usually look more than 20 yards in any direction. Sometimes you get lucky and find the honey hole and other times you walk for miles with no luck. That's just the way it is.
