We had a pretty mild winter last yr but so far this yr, they are staying at 99% and I put batteries in them in July.

I wish I had about 6 of the Reconyx but that would be about $2100 worth of cams.
I wish I could afford just six more $200.00 cams let alone Reconyx. I just pray that the two moultries and one bushnell I have keep working.

I agree with using Lithium batteries as well. They cost about 3x as much but WELL worth it. I use them in all my Trophy Cams and have had 4 cameras up for 2 years (running 6 months a year, July to January) and all are still on full charges. I don't run my cameras in 0 degree tempatures but they are running from 15 degrees to 90 degrees and I usually get about 4000 pictures a year. I went with just the regular AA batteries for a while but have learned the better the batteries the better than camera runs.

Just drove by a couple bucks in SE Minnesota with their headgear still fully intact. Hopefully they start dropping soon. I want to go out looking soon.

Thanks for the advise on the lithium batteries people. Will give that a try.
