He's still alive

I got him on cam last year

Would you guys agree on about 135? I know he's atleas 4.5 but probably 5.5

matt068 08-12-2012 10:20 AM

Grest buck but hes awfully small i bet hes only 3-1/2 thin face chest isnt filled out like you should see in a 4 or 5 yr old Unless tenn bucks are just a lot smaller than im used to seeing

browtine7 08-12-2012 11:00 AM

I love tall tight and heavy racks. Great looking buck

150 pounds is good for a TN buck. Aging is hard during the summer too.

Here he is last year

Either way he'll be a great first bow buck! I'm pretty sure he will be P&Y. I cant see him grossing under 135.

Great buck and that camera takes very nice daytime pics.

Blessings.......Pastorjim

Actually I was going by the little points on the end of his antlers. His ear was split a little last year but not in both places.

BigDaddy12t 08-12-2012 03:45 PM

Man, he is a dandy!

Master Chief 08-12-2012 04:00 PM

HONKERS 08-12-2012 04:20 PM

I thought the same thing but it's actually just a button buck with a big ole tick on his leg. I have a close up of it is how I know.

Glad to see someone thinks 140" I was trying to be modest saying 135 because I tend to overscore my deer :happy0001:

Hopefully he'll let me fulfil my goal of getting a P&Y for my first bow buck. He stuck around until he lost his velvet last year and then I quite putting cams out so maybe he'll stay until bow season.

WIbuckchaser 08-12-2012 07:17 PM

I am guessing 130. Put him down and we shall find out.

matt068 08-15-2012 04:17 PM

i think at least 135 poss 140

26drawny 08-15-2012 04:44 PM

Very nice pics... I hope you get em and then we will know what his score is...

ferg68 08-20-2012 05:14 AM

thats a real nice deer i would guess him at 135 and 3to4 years old

Master Chief 08-20-2012 06:04 PM

Thanks for the replies guys. He is still showing up but not bringing in any other deer so Im gonna move it to the area I got pictures of a 160ish class buck January of 2011(the buck from the TN survivor thread in the serious Deer talk forum) I have 5 other cams out too so maybe Ill find another one so I can have multiple setups!

I dont think I have ever been so anxious to do anything in my life. Season doesn't start for 33 days in TN. It's gonna be a long wait but I should be pretty good with my bow by then :p

cajote2 08-27-2012 01:21 PM

huge frame on him

Phil from Maine 08-27-2012 02:50 PM

It sure looks like a decent rack to me. Good luck getting him this fall, then you can let us know how much he scores..

notredame17 08-28-2012 05:15 AM
