My first trailcam pics for 2012
I have some trailcam pics for 2012 to share with you. They are from an old Stealth Prowler.. It sure looks like that deer mineral is really starting to work..

Thanks guys! Hopefully I will get some pics sometime of one of those big Maine bucks to share with you.. I am pretty sure as summer moves on I will have some decent moose pics as well. This place is a game trail that most game will be using from time to time. I am set up just off the right of it in a three way split of the main trail..

I had to post this one for you all to check out. Just look at the feet of this little yearling.. It looks like it has stockings on...
I also moved my camera a bit closer as I am getting to many blank pics at night.. Sometimes just the eyes glowing and other times nothing at all. So i moved it as close as I could which only around 6 feet closer and I had to change the angle slightly so It is no longer pointing down the trail so much..
I also have these large members of the deer family checking things out every so often..

Yes, the deer has done quite well this past winter with very little snowfall. Now I hope the fawns will make it past all of the predators we have like coyotes, bears, linxes, and bobcats. We do not have as many trappers or bobcat hunters like we used to. That came about back when the market fell out from under them.
My prowler has twin lenses on it. I used it quite a bit when I first got it and then left it on the shelf for a couple of years. Because every time I took it out it would fail because of moisture getting into it. That was until I notice the bottom latch not working right because of a crack the bears gave it. Now I use a c-clamp on it to help hold it together tighter.
