Look like a healthy deer, I'm surprised they got him.

monkeyman2269 11-11-2011 08:04 PM

Um why didn't it just take off there faster than a yote

PastorJim08 11-11-2011 11:49 PM

I think there may have been something wrong with this buck, maybe sick.

Blessings......Pastorjim

yeah something had to be wrong with this deer! may have just been a bad case of stupid but something wrong with him!

jrbsr 11-14-2011 01:20 AM

If you look it started in the day time, and ended at night so the yotes were chasing him all night.
And he was so tired he couldn't run.
Thats how yotes work, they run their prey until they can't run any more then move in for the kill.

ahh that makes sense. when i clicked on the images it started about 10 at night. Makes more sense now!

And the PETA tries to say that hunting is cruel most animals killed by hunters die much quicker and with less pain than this buck does. It is a cruel world and I think I would much rather be shot than die like this.

I shot a big doe right just before dark last year. After a two hour search we decided to come back early in the morning. There was a 10 hr difference between being shot and being found. This is what a few coyotes did in that time frame.

Sickly Buck

What a nice rack on this fella. Shame, but he appeared sickly though.
Spots near his inner hams/lower stomach region. CWD? I'm ignorant on this disease and its symptoms.

Easy to anger at the yotes here but they perform a needed function.

This vid should be copyrighted. It would be a great training vid for Hunter Safety Courses and Conservation Seminars on why Hunting is necessary and wanted.

What a fantastic video. Once in a lifetime! Some people could (and do) go their entire lives without knowing how Nature really works and how seemingly cruel but efficient it really can be.

Thanks for posting this!

Instead people are taught that nature is cute and cuddly. Grant it nature does have its moments but most of the time its hard. Just like life in general. All things have a purpose and i bet that yote in a winter coat will make a heck of a pair of slippers for someone.
