Primos TruthCam 60?
I'm thinking about getting a TruthCam 60. My old flash Moultrie is dying. I've heard and read a lot about the shutter noise or clunk. Anyone know if this has been fixed in the newer cameras? Just curious what you guys think of this camera. Thanks in advance.

Here is a site I often refer to when considering a camera purchase. Pay particular attention to the detection zone test segment. Hope this helps.

Yes, I believe it has been fixed. I know for sure it has been on the Primos 35 and 46. I had some trouble with a aouple of 35's but I sent them back to Primos and they sent me two brand new 46's. Their customer service was great. The 46's they sent me are both silent during picture taking and have a very quick trigger time. Bass Pro has the 35 on sale for $79 right now, that is a hard price to beat for the camera you get.

I have tried the Tasco and it did not perform well in the winter. Two weeks in the harsh winters of MI and the batteries were dead.

In mine they last 1 to 1/2 months in the winter . I tried the lesser price batteries, but they didn't last as long. The better the battery the longer they last. I get the big 12 pack size, they are a little less costly. Try them. |
Thanks guys. I think I might order the TruthCam from Cabela's. They have free shipping on orders over $150 this week. If I have an issue Cabela's and Primos seem to have top notch customer service. That's more than I can say for Moultrie.
