I have taken a few 230-245lb bucks in indiana and know alot of hunters and have never seen a buck come close to 275lb field dressed from Indiana........What county you hunt??.....I hunt in farm rich Parke County and the one I did get at 245 was 81/2 years old... Not calling you a liar but man that is hard to believe around these parts......

I hunt in Whitley county which is pretty far north. For some reason the big bodies seem to be a common trait in that area. I have hunted this area for seven years and we have killed several bucks in the 250 pound plus range. When you see one dead on the ground, the first thing that always jumps out at us is the size of the body, no matter how big his rack. Here is a pic of a buck we hunted in 2009. We didn't end up taking him but one of the neighbors did. He came in at more than 250lbs.
