SD Cards Recommended by Moultrie
I was on another forum where some members were having a little problem with the I60 and the new M80 cameras. Part of the problem mentioned was some SD cards did not seem compatible. In the google search box. type in " moultriefeeders.com" and click "enter". A new page will open and at the top in the enter box I typed "I60 software updates". Now click "enter". A new page opens showing various cameras. Scroll down to I60 and to the right click on "Full Details". A new page opens. Now scroll down to "Built In Locator and Security Password". Click on "see our FAQ for details". A new page will open with lots of questions and helpful answers. Scroll down to "If I want to use the expanded memory, what sd card should I buy". They list SanDisc, Kodak and Panosonic". The main suggestion is to "format" the card before using. I do this even with a brand new card as an extra precaution.
I have 3 of the D55-IR and am using Verbatim, Lexar, ADAPTA and Kodak. Kodak will work in this camera but not as good as the others. My cameras are all set to video where they take a picture first, then the video. The field of view is narrower in the video than in the picture.
One can backtrack and select another camera model and may find information or camera specifications. Some of these camera models do not have a software update, and do not list what card brands to use other than what I mentioned above.
Nothing listed on the new M80 other than specifications.
