I put down some moldy corn a few weeks back..} -; ..I thought I'd lost them.Note the hanging feeder..I bought this from Cabelas..anyway..with some good fresh corn the hogs are back..now i need to get them on my timeLOL




PS ..over 1000 pics..same batteries.

Thanks Brother Jim...I'm very blessed with this family..I didn't know them from Adam..I'm the only one with a key. They even set up a place for me to butcher the hogs...

.270 is a bit much for a hog don't ya think?
Are you using a smaller reload round for them or factory ammo?

Here's the deal..my first hog I hit behind the front leg with buckshot..She ran 30 yds and stopped I put her down with a slug..When I cleaned her I had busted out 5 ribs..barely phased her...

next hog..shot with a 30-30 same place ..almost never found the hog.

Was with a friend who shot a 110 pound sow in the head with a 30-30 dropped her..in 5 minutes she got up again and tore across the field..His dad stopped it with a 270.

I shot another nice hog with a 30-30 ..could not find it..the buzzards did though the next day.

Where i hunt is close to private property so I must stop them in their tracks..A 270 will do that...I plan to make head shots..
