Can anybody tell me what this is

Here is something on one of my cams but I can't tell what it is. I was hoping some of you computer gurus could lighten it up to be able to tell.

I would say a yote or Bobcat.

BigDaddy12t 03-01-2011 04:14 PM

I was thinking some kind of cat too.

syrupman 03-01-2011 04:27 PM

X2 for bobcat

One thing for sure, its not bigfoot. lol
Kinda looks like a hog, or pot belly pig.

Here's the deal with that pic. I too think it could be a bobcat but that would be nearly unheard of in my part of the state. I have messed with the pic quite a bit on my own but I can't say definitively what it is for sure. I had a raccoon pic a few days before that in that spot and whatever the mystery pic is, it is larger than a coon. I think it is some sort of cat picture but that is larger than a housecat. Sooooooo, I dunno!

How long, before you visit that expensive trail cam again.

syrupman 03-02-2011 03:20 PM

its definately a pig..in the first pic look at how arched that back is and how square the face is...its definately a hog or potbelly pig

I left it in it's place. It's been out for about a month and a half. Funny thing about it was, those two pics I posted were the only ones like that. All the rest were crystal clear. Really don't know what happened. The Reconyx is usually a never fail camera.
