2 headed doe

Put both my Cuddeeback Captures out over the ame corn pile to see if they were both taking the same amount of pics. 4 days later, one of them had 70 pics, and the other had 299! I will post more pics later tonight, but gota run for now.

You know Darren, that was the big complaint I had with the Cuddeback I had. It was getting far fewer pics than the other cams I had in the same places. It has to be a sensor problem or a quality control problem. Either way, IMO, Cudde could fix it without much effort. Two cams, same location, and one takes more than 4x as many pics. Not good.

Yep, I had a feeling one of them was acting up, it just seemed like I was getting less and less pictures, but I was not sure wich one it was, and now I know. Oh well, I shouldnt have this problem with the homebrew.

Darren, try reversing the cams now. Put cam 1 exactly where you had cam 2 and vice versa (same height and pointing the same exact way that you did in the 1st experiment.)

I think if you have cams on the same tree and above one another (depending on the height) it can affect your number of pics per camera. Let us know your findings.

Thats a great idea Todd, I wish I wouls have thought of that when I swtched Sd cards. I will have to do that next time I go out there.

My Cudde Capture does that a few times a year but that's about it.
Usually its around sunup or down.
