Predator Trail Cams SUCK - Filed Chapter 7
 

I bought a Traileye IR from Basspro at the beginning of the season and when I put the camera out the batteries were completely drained after 1 night in the woods (took 3 pictures). Put a fresh set of batteries (different brand), and after 2 nights and 4 pictures the batteries were completely drained again.

Called Predator and told them I needed to return it for warranty. They refused to pay for my shipping cost to return it, so I covered it and sent it in. Got it back 3 weeks later and they said they tested it and there was nothing wrong with it.

I put brand new Energizer batteries in it, took it to the woods, and after 2 weeks I have dead batteries and the only picture it took was the one of me walking away from the camera. I had it pointed at my feeder which has hogs visiting it day and night.

Now, the dirtbags have filed Chapter 7 and I am out over $200. I am going to call Basspro and see what they will do for me. What a complete joke of a company. For now on it is ScoutGaurd and Moultrie ONLY!!!!

Try a Tasco 3 megapixel.

It uses 4 C Cell batteries, and lasts between 2 and 3 months.

Spend some money and get a decent cam.
You can't go wrong with the $200 cams.
I have two Cudde Captures and a Scoutguard and have never had problems with them.
Scoutguard is 4yrs and the Cuddes are 2yrs old.
They are usually in the woods 10months out of the yr.

The Predator Traileye IR was a $200 cam.

My Scoutguard and Moultrie I-60 have been bulletproof.

Go with the all new Ltl Acorn 5210/ 5210A for the two hundred dollar price range you are not going to beat it. Two year warranty, awesome pics with no problems.
