how are the batteries on the camera

i have had my i590 out for the past 42 days and it has taken 2684 pictures on this set of batteries. Temps have been down below 0 several nights and average temps have probably been around 15 degrees. It is still out in the field clicking away but batteries are getting low so i will probably change them the next time i check the cam. This is with 8 C cell alkaline batteries (Rayovacs i believe) so it is a lot of batteries at once but battery life is better than i expected. I have got between 4000 and 5000 pics before on a set in the warmer months.

That is a great price on that camera, I have the i890 and it by far takes the best day and night pics. Great Camera. Scoot
