I'm really impressed Emmit. You didn't let any grass grow under your feet when you decided to build a homebrew. Looks like you did a great job on your first build. Can't wait to see some pics from it.

I'd really love to be there for that but it's just too far. Can't wait to see that video camera.

Oh very nice!

Do you have a recipe for cooking up homebrews?
I've got 2 old digital cameras collecting dust.

Is that a salvaged case from a store bought?
Trigger time?
Recovery time?

fasterem 01-11-2011 05:05 AM

the case is a store boughten Otter 3000, if I would do it again with this camera would probably use a different case, the Pentax is a very large width camera and well it just barly fit width wise in the case specially when I made a mistake with the lens hole but I got it to work, as for a reciepe well I had a lot of help for another board (archerytalk) ;-) it seemed like a very slow trigger time but now that I have it all put together and changed some settings it might be a 2.5ish camera I have it set to take 2 pics every 15 seconds
what kind of cameras do you have? some are easy to hack and some are really hard and some just havn't been tried yet, I guess LOL I am brand new to this so I don't know alot but I am LEARNING FAST LOL

onion721 01-11-2011 05:19 AM

They are Fujifilm Finepix A210's.

fasterem 01-11-2011 09:04 AM

Like I said I don't have a clue if they can be used or not, I know the one homebrew that I bought was a fuji J10 so its possible, and my fuji is fast

Looking good! I wish the "meeting" was closer to WI. Alot of homebrew knowledge will be there for sure.
