Pure Energy Rechargeable Batteries-Your experience
If anyone is using the "C" Pure Energy rechargeable batteries I would appreciate your comments.
My findings: Manufactured in Canada and sold by most WalMarts. 36 out of 74 would not fully recharge, but fresh out of the package they tested 1.55 volt with a digital meter. The positve post (top) is larger in diameter not allowing three batteries stacked to fit in a Moultrie D55-IR trail camera. The camera had to be regrooved to accept the positive end. Also three batteries stacked were very hard to install as the total length is longer than other brands. When these batteries work, they are excellent. WalMart has quit accepting the faulty batteries unless Pure Energy battery division provides confirmation they will provide warranty. To date this has not happened has they have not replied to my emails.

Pure Energy Battery Update:
I went for the mail this morning and found a parcel card. The parcel was from Pure Energy. To my amazement the parcel contained 28 new "C" batteries to replace the faulty ones I had been having trouble with. There was a letter of apoligy and another letter explaining how they suggested using the batteries. They stated if I had any further battery problems, to ship them in prepaid for analysis. After 4 months with several emails and test results sent in by me, they have acknowledged there was a problem (the faulty batteries would not fully recharge).
