Ok look at the time stamps on these photos, I took that tree stand from where you see it, dragged it back behind the camera and took time to install it by myself so you know it took me time to do it

The thing that always suprises me in comparison pictures is how small deer actually are. I get pics of mature bucks all the tiem in comparison pics like this and its strange how short they actually are. Nice pics. Just proof that anythign can happen during the rutt. I've been in the stand so many times and had deer ontop of me in less than ten minutes alot.

man must of missed him by only 10 minutes or so by the time you got out of there. too bad you didnt stick around! looks like a good one

Wow, that would suck! Serious question, is it normal in your part of the country to hunt from stands that low? You have to get in the nosebleeds dwon here and they can still bust you. Our deer walk around looking up most all the time.

LOL I just set it there like that LOL there are 2 other 5ft sections of ladder that went with it LOL I put the stand about 20 yards behind the camera
