Bear Took Trail Camera, So I need a New One
Went to get my pics of my camera and found that it wasnt on the tree anymore.:sad0064:Searched the area and found absoluteley zilch. Came to the conclusion that it was a bear or it was stolen. (leanin towards bear because i had been getting pics of one)
So, whats a good trail camera to buy? Might just get the same one but I'd thought I'd get you guys's opinion. |
Some good brands: Bushnell Trophy Trail camera (2009 model), Moultrie D55-IR, Spy Point IRB as well as others in that series, Cuddeback. The first three have good battery life. Bushnell offers a two year warranty. Cuddeback take excellent night pictures in color. Check out some of the forum members posts for their thoughts and submitted pictures and videos. Good luck in your choice.

Whatever camera you end up with, I would put it in a security box. A company called camlock box makes a box for just about every camera out there. I won't put a camera out without one. Sorry about your cam. Maybe if a bear got it you will eventually find something of it.

Do not buy a bushnell 2010. Those cameras can't stay functional for more than a couple of months and you have to pay for the shipping & return shipping. Not to mention all the time that you'll be without you camera in the woods.
