From what I can tell it looks like shedding. One picture has the same thing on his hind leg

A young buck but definate shooter

I like his rack! Hopefully the tine that's pointing to the bucks face stays intact and you get a crack at him.

Im not too sure what he would score. I sure like his looks though. This spot is in a 20 acre timber surounded be crops and 80 yards from my back door. Im pretty fortunate to see these deer on a daily basis and there are a couple more that havent got in front of the cameras yet that are some real dandies. The bordering property is a 2000 acre wildlife management property that really grows some monsters. And basically they just are passing by my place.

I like how his g3 is bent over.

I hope it does stay there.
