New TrailEye XP
 

I recently purchased a new Predator Trailcams TrailEye XP. I put it up in front of my house to see how far the camera could pick up motion and to check the trigger speed. I was amazed to see that the camera was picking up cars and 4-wheelers that were dirivng by on the road and trail. What I could not beleive that the measured distance from the camera to the 4-wheelers was 240ft away. Also look how narrow the opening is. I have used alot of different cameras over the years but I have never seen nothing like this:hail:

I hope that camera works out good for you. The pictures turned out good. I had a Wild View EZ Cam do something like that the odd time. The area was alot wider and one was a large road grader; the other was a big 4 wheel drive John Deere tractor pulling a couple of large farm implements. I don't know if light had reflected of the grader and tractor to trigger the camera or humidity in the air. Thanks for sharing.

Checking the date and times picture #1 was at 8:55 on 6-13
#2 was at 8:56 on 6-13
#17 was at 8:55 on 6-13
Something is definately wrong because that cam seems to back up in time instead of progressing forward. 17 pictures in minus one minute. now that is fast. Might re do those tests and see if the time progresses as it should.

bowwinkles you are looking at the time the pictures were uploaded to the forum. Not the time the pictures were taken. Those are impressive pictures. It amazes my how fast trail cam technology has progressed.

Check again, your times are nowhere near the real times stamped on the pics and what does it matter if he uploaded them out of sync?
That trigger is very impressive.
