The elusive Unicorn ?!?! nah...I think its a Doe with wart/fibroma growing in the weirdest place I've seen yet..

2robinhood 05-30-2010 05:41 AM

It was abducted by aliens.

I think it's definately a doe but what's growing on it's head, I have no idea. Maybe you should show this pic to your local wildlife biologist or CO and see what they think.

My guess is doe with like a tumor on her head maybe?

Pope94/IA 05-30-2010 07:07 AM

I have no idea what it is but that would be one funny lookin deer if it was bone growth.

KYDeerHunter03 05-30-2010 11:39 AM

Haystack is right, its a deer wart! Sadly it will probably keep growing until it covers her eyes and cant see.

I seen a doe while hunting that had them all over her body...there was 2 others with her and I figured I would shoot her to save her the pain in the future. Unfortunately she never gave me a shot.

I say if you see her during hunting season...kill her :)

You sure that's not a Texas Tick? ;)

bigmster127 05-31-2010 01:52 AM

no texas tick, this is from massachusetts. unles the tick or deer traveled to mass from texas.

Man that is weird. I've never seen it before. I'm gonna go with unicorn though!

Semisane 05-31-2010 06:36 PM

It's just a fad. All of the young does are wearing that silly little hat ever since Madoena wore one in a music video.

Look at the mass!!!!

bigmster127 06-13-2010 02:23 AM

i did take this picture to my mass wildlife biologist and it is a fibroma. not life threatening they dry up and fall off. they say it can be from injury or pesky mosquitoes or insects. they say its more common in younger bucks than does. but i dont know what sex this deer is.
