Default Some antler growth and LOTS of other things

I've had two cams running for the last 16 days, the Stealthcam I-590 and the Cudde Capture. Here is the tally. Cudde Capture; 25 exposures, Stealthcam I-590; 958 exposures. I have had the Cudde out about four times now, ususally in 2-3 week stints, and it has never gotten more than 30-40 exposures. To say the least, I am not impressed with it. I moved it today to what I hope is a more productive spot, so we will see. Here are some of my pics from this trip.

Here are some of the Stealthcam pics.

This may be the only pic. I have ever gotten of a hen pheasent.

I have 4 or 5 different sequences of what I think are two bucks. They always seem to be together.

Couple of turkeys.

Might end up being a pretty decent buck.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

those are some great pics, what's your thoughts re: lack of pics on the capture? I have had success with my captures, never have as many pics as my Moultries but haven't seen the big differences like you're seeing??

I dunno. Like I said, I moved it to a different spot today, so we will see. If it doesn't get better, I'm gonna get rid of it. It's just not worth it to have it out for 2-3 weeks at a time and only get 20 pics.

In regards to the last picture you posted from the Stealth Cam.

Thank you for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed it. We did have a frost and freeze warning out for that morning and it did get pretty cold. That camera is sitting in a very low spot so I don't know, it might have been close.

It would be interesting if you switched the cameras locations with each other in the same exact spot and direction, to see if there is a camera problem or just that the Cudde is in a less traffic location.

But those are some good pictures.

Great pics PJ!! Looks like your neighbors pheasant stocking program is paying off!

PJ. If I were you I would just pull the Cudde and set it up in your yard and just walk passed it 50 times to see how many pics it takes. Do it during both day and night time. Pike
