Trail Cameras illegal in Montana

Can you believe a state would ban trailcams?? Not sure what they mean by Commission Adopted Hunting Season????

According to the 2010 regulations, it`s illegal to use trail cams during hunting season!!!!

It`s on page 10 of this link. It`s a large pdf file so it might take some time to load.

Wow, that sucks. I really figured it might happen somewhere.

I can't think of any valid reason why a camera in the woods would be banned??????

Siman08/OH 04-08-2010 06:22 PM

Is this for real?

Ky Bob 04-08-2010 06:45 PM

I hope not. I just happen to find the link and thought I'd post it. I can't think of any valid reason to ban trail cams period.

Does Montana even have trees to mount cameras, or are they just taped to the fences.

LifexIsxHunting 04-08-2010 08:17 PM

Montana is one of the last states I thought that would ban trail cams.
