What camera to buy????

Have some points built up on my cabelas card and want to buy a good camera. Have had a moultrie and stealth cam in the past and seemed to have nothing but problems. Don't know much about the different brands. Some advice would be great.

Thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend. I would have to say that for around $200, you should look at a Cuddeback Capture, (not the IR model) this would be my first pick hands down. Another good one in this price range is the Bushnell Trophy Cam. Good luck with your decision, you will get lots of help here.

I think the new 2010 model Trophy Cam sounds pretty great!

Look at the Leaf River brand if video with sound is an option you're looking for. I bought my first Leaf River this year and am having a blast with it. I prefer the video mode more than the still photo mode.

If the new Bushnell Trophycam works as advertised, it will be a really great camera. I plan on purchasing one as soon as they come out.

I have some stealth cams i540, a pair of moultrie i60's and a cuddieback ir. Hands down the i60 is ten fold better than the rest. Battery lasts forever it seems. But i think these electronics are just luck of the draw....cause there is always someone that has trouble with one.

I know they are already out with some retailers but I am waiting until trailcampro has them in stock. They told me it would probably be next week. They have always treated me very well and I feel very confident purchasing from them. Thanks everyone for the heads-up though.

I have a Moultrie I-60 trail camera also and its one of the best camera's I've owned so far!As far as any of the newer trail camera's to choose from I would seriously consider the Cuddeback Capture (Flash Camera) and the 2010 Bushnell Bone Collector Trophy Camera with the 8.0 megapixels its gotta be a very nice camera with some great picture quality!
