I need your good luck wishes fellas. I have some of my best trailcam photos entered in the Illinois deer classic photo contest and the judging is today, Sunday. I really don't even know what the prizes are and really I don't care. I'm just glad to have an opportunity to show some of my photos. It would be nice though if some of them at least placed.

Good Luck PJ! Love the pics. So how did you find out there was a contest for trail cam photos? I was looking at the Minnesota classic website, and they dont have anything for this.

It was posted on their website under contests. Still haven't heard anything yet so I don't know my results yet.

Well guys the results are in. I didn't do as well as I hoped but I did place a couple photos. I had a good time and I learned a little about what the judges look for so maybe I'll do a little better in the future. Here are the two photos, out of my six, that placed. Thanks for all of your well wishes everyone, you guys are the best!

This photo placed 2nd in the misc. category.



This photo placed 3rd in the deer/other category. I really felt like this photo could have won the whole thing.

Congrats on your photos Jim! I ended up calling the Minnesota Deer Classic to see if they were having a photo contest, and they told me that there has not been enough interest in the past, so they were not having one this year.

Great photos PastorJim! Hope you do well next year. It takes awhile to learn what judges look for but after a few times you will be at the top of the categories. Good Luck!

well done n e waz (anyways..(for you old guys) ) in just just placing..im sure there were a bunch of entries and to place any is a accomplishment, but to place two is a tour de force! how many pics ya put in? and how bout postin those too?
