Slow time of year

Man, this must really be the slow time of year for everyone and their trailcams. Not much going on in here these days. I will have some more pictures on Saturday, I couldnt stand not having my camera out, so I put it back out last weekend.

I have 4 Wildview EZ Cam trail cameras out. I got a total of five deer on two of the cameras. Both cameras were set up along the same trail, a fair distance apart. Very few deer in this area due to deep snow. Other areas have lots of deer depending on the food source.
I don't happen to have access to to one of these areas to set up trail cameras. I have seen these areas while driving around before dusk. Some areas have any where from 50 to over 100 animals. In one area, a friend of mine counted 130.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been thinking of putting some cams out soon. Won't be this weekend though, 'cause me and the wife are headed to Illinois to the deer expo at Bloomington. HMMM, wonder if they'll be any cams on sale over there.

I now have the cash to add another Cudde to my other one, but I am going to the Minnesota Deer Classic the 13th of March, and I too am hoping they have some Trail Cam booths set up. If I dont get one there, I will be ordering one fromTrailCamPro. Have fun at the show PJ! Dont spend too much money,

It certainly is a slow time of year with the trail cam forum. I should have some pictures to post up tomorrow or saturday and hopefully some others will post over the weekend. I hate when there arent many pics to look at

In colder areas deer are yarded up close to food sources conserving energy to get through the winter tough period.

Try locating them in evergreen groves, low pockets with east/south facing hillsides.

I pulled my cams about 2 weeks ago but I'll go through the last batch and see if there are any good ones I haven't posted yet, did find a total of 4 sheds so far, one matching set, nothing from the big boys yet

Congradulations on your find Ron. More will probably show up as we get a little closer to spring.

Here are some of the bucks we have gotten on our farm in Wisconsin. Most of these bucks still hadn't shed when I saw them last weekend but 1 has for sure as I found the left side to one of the 8 pointers. Hope it gives everyone something to look at.
