Best camera at Good Price

I need some advice...

I am looking into getting some trail cameras. Been looking around for a while, just can't make a decision on what I want. My friend told me to get Cuddeback, but I really dont want to spend upwards of 400 for one cam. I have look at the Moultrie Game Spy....just kind of stuck at this point...

Any advice on what to get would be greatly appreciated!

Moultries are good cameras for around the hundered dollar price point. Cuddes can be around 299 for certain models. Its up to you and the weather conditions you are goign to use it in...if you want multiples then buy a couple Moultries, they'll do just fine for you.

A big portion of your decision should be based on how you are going to use the camera. If you are putting it over bait the Moultrie cameras will be fine, but if you are just trying to capture deer using trails you will regret getting the moultrie because the trigger speed is so slow. If you want to check out some reviews here is a website to check out:

I went with a Bushnell Trophy Cam chortly before christmas and I still have it in the woods with the original batteries and almost 2000 pictures in miserable weather. Two weeks of below zero temps (down to -20 over night) and rain/ice/sleet/snow. Trigger time is excellent. You can pick on up for about $160 bucks on line. You can get a Cudde for about $200 online if you get the capture and not the IR. If you're looking for something under $100 I would go with the Tasco they have at Walmart or if you are putting the camera over bait the moultries.

You should be able to get a Cuddeback Capture w/ Flash for $200. Takes great pics and very easy to use.

You can get a Cudde Capture for $189.
Here is where I got mine:

I own two and think they're great cams.

Many manufacturers won't honor the warranty if you don't buy from an authorized dealer. Pay attention to this when buying online. If you're in the market for more then 1 camera my advice to you is buy 1 at a time in case it's not what you were expecting.

Decide what functions you want in a camera and what application u'll be using it for, this should narrow down your search.

There are many threads in the trail cam forum that have many different cams with the pics posted. Do some research and decide what you like.

And don't be afraid to ask more questions!

The Cuddeback Capture, what is the trigger speed like on those!? I really know absolutely nothing about cameras. The conditions in my area are normally mild. Not cold, just having an off year and had right much snow this year. But how does it hold up to the conditions and whats the battery life like??

My Moultrie I-60 InfraRed Camera has a fast trigger speed and it can take from 1 to 3 pictures in a row and it also has a video setting for 5-15 or 30 second video's and it has a built-in viewer for looking at pictures out in the field.I got mine on sale for $200.00 plus I had a $20.00 Off coupon from BassProShop!I highly reccomend this camera for all it great features and nice pictures! You can also check Wal-Mart on line for a good price on this camera too!
