The perfect trailcam

As mentioned in another post, my wife just bought me another trailcam, a Leaf River IR7SS. I now own six different brands of trailcams. There are things that I like about all of them but there also things about each one that could be improved. It got me to thinking what would be the perfect trailcam? Below is a list of things I would like to see all wrapped up inone unit to make the decision easier.

a. Instant trigger
b. Wide sensing area (A camera, no matter how fast it is, can't take a picture of what it can't see)
c. No recovery time between triggers (this is a biggie)
d. White-flash capabilities in higher end cameras
e. Video with sound in all units (this is where I think most manufactures are headed in the future)
f. Capable of transmitting quality photos and vids to your computer.
g. All these features for around $250.00

If you all can think of anything else for the perfect camera, please feel free to share your comments.

This idea raises all sorts of possibilities. You could have a camera that dispenses dominate buck scent, doe-in-heat scent, acorn rage scent, or just about anything. Great idea!

The hard Case would be made of highly explosive material and if it was stolen You can type in a code on a remote and it would blow up killing the person that stole it! :) ;)

Heres the 1 thing I have thought about over and over. That is a camera in a half moon shape with a lens cover from edge to edge. And inside that are 4 lens' shooting seperate directions. Thus giving you a panoramic view instead of a straight out shot. We all know that when there is 1 deer that chances are there are some more mingling the area. And how many of them walk just out of trigger view. Plus that would eliminate any butt shots.

if someone made a camera with all the features for 250, their profit loss/camera would easily be made up for with the number of cameras sold!

I just thought of something else that would be real nice. Get rid of sd cards. They have the little monitors that you can view the pics in the woods. Give the camera more internal memory and then have something that can transfer those pictures into a portable reader. Then you could go from camera to camera, plug it in and it transfers what is on the camera to the reader, then take it home to view the pics. Thus retrieving all the pics without losing or switching sd cards. Does that make any sense?
