Do you know if idaho has a law against trail cameras? Since there is only really mule deer and elk here i dont know if they have laws against it, we have a tree stand and just want to see what all goes through because we've been seeing all kinds of tracks-elk deer dogs cats and bears

Can you buy them in Idaho?
I'd say that if you can buy them then it's not illegal.
Why don't you check the Idaho Conservation website for all wildlife bylaws.

i've tried but have not seen anything. so I think its legal.

they are completley legal i have many trail cams

I am by no means an expert on this subject, but the only state I'm aware of that has any laws restricting trailcams is Montana. Hope this helps.
