Moultrie Question?

Since the bucks are starting to scrape I decided to flip my I4.0 over to video mode. Before I did I cleared 95% of the pics off the cards so I would have enough memory for the videos.
Well a week later I decided to go pull the card and it tells me memory full. I put my other card in and same result. I didn't get even one video and not one still pic. I put it back on "still" and that works fine.
Is it the cards or is it the camera????? What would you do to figure this out? I have not really taken the time to look into it because I want it out there doing its job.
Any comments are greatly appreciated.

I have only tried my I-40s in the video mode on one occaision, I pretty much got the same result you did. It did continue to take stills after the video seemed to be full. The only possible answer would be to use a larger sd card. I use 1gb cards but I think the Moultries can use up to a 4gb. So I would suggest that. Hope this is your answer.

Time to format the card - preferably using the camera if possible.

I have a I-40 and put it on video mode for a couple nights and it took the clips just fine for me... Maybe just make sure that the memory card is facing the correct way and pushed in as far as possible? I know the slot is hard to reach and I've installed the SD card improperly myself before, so you could just double check that? Otherwise I've had great experiences with my now 2 Moultries, would definitely keep buying their products

No SD slot will allow you to insert a card improperly unless you force it. If you feel tension, you're inserting it wrong.
Try formatting the card and try it again.
What kind of card is it? no name cards = no name performance.
I've had great luck with Sandisk and Kingston cards.

I am pretty sure I have one of each. How do I go about formatting the card? Do you think they would both need to be formatted? That don't sound right to me, but I have know idea?:confused0024:

My old Moultrie M60 would let me format the card on the camera so look into the manual for how to do that.
Otherwise, put it in the computer, right click that drive and select format.
It's worth a shot but if two cards are jacking up then it might be the camera.
