Default Your favorite way to set up your camera?

Let's try to learn from each other... How do you like to set up your camera in regards to # of pictures taken vs. # of seconds or minutes before the next picture?

I've been experimenting with everything from the default mode (1 pic/minute) to 1 pic every 10 seconds, and doing some video too. Just looking for some ideas.

I only have 1 camera out there (sg550) so I want to get my money's worth so to speak.

I usually set all my cameras to give a three-shot sequence with a one minute delay between sequences. This has worked well for me with the exception of the Reconyx. It takes photos so rapidly that when you view them, it's almost video.

I set my camera's up so that they take a picture every 30 seconds. I've had the best luck setting up on scrapes....I don't bait so I can't set up over bait or that would work well too I imagine. QDMA Online has an article on counting the deer on your property using trail camera's, but they rely on baiting to draw the deer in to the camera...still an interesting article. It talks about how often the camera should reset to take pictures and such so that you maximize the number of different deer you capture.

That is exactly what I do! I love it, I get a lot of different angles of the deer.
