Trail Cam Batteries
 

I have a cheap trail cam and it runs thru batteries like every two weeks what type of "c" batteries do yall use? My pics are set to take every two mins the slowest setting on the cam it is a wildlife innovations camera NOT real good but it gets the job done. I need more pics!!!!!! Thanks

im using that WI 1.3 ($50) and i have noticed the flash works more often and the cam works longer on duracells. i dont get too many pics tho cus there just arent a whole lot of deer in my area. usually a hundred a wk tho. and the batts last 3 wks before the low batt starts flashing.

any game cam that has a flash is going to eat batteries, its the flash that does it. better batteries last a little bit longer. I get over a 1000 pics on a set of descent batteries on a flash type cam

You might want to consider going to a digital 4.0 megaplex camera that is 6 volt. We utilize the green box throwers with digital operation. I have a solar panel attached to mine which always stays charged unless the battery goes bad. They are real reliable and shoot super clear pictures. I purchased them at Cabela's for about 50-60 bucks. They are the best that we have found. Our camera's take alot of photo's (695) in a week's time frame and they keep on clicking when we change out sd cards.

Depends on the camera. I had a Moultrie I-40 out from March - August last year. Put it out a week ago & got 600+ pix. It is ready for new batteries.

Yep. I have over 3000 pics on one set of batteries, still had 67% charge last week.

I have same Moultrie cam, battery life is awesome!

Thats my point, cameras with a flash, not infrared, eat up batteries.
