He's been rubbing - lot of closeups...

Checked my cam today and see the split G2 guy came back to his apple tree a few times this past week. Good to see him in daylight too. Looks like he's been rubbing pretty good. All taken with a S600 homebrew.

Headed to camp for the weekend when I get out of work in the morning. Hope everyone has a great weekend..
Take care
Dave

gotta look into building one of those homebrew cams one of these days, where did you get the plans?

DowningAir 09-30-2009 07:32 AM

Beautiful deer! Those pics are awesome!

Chenango Dave 09-30-2009 03:39 PM

Thanks again everyone.
Ron - this was with a Sony S600 and a Yeti control board. If you google Yeti trail cams I'm sure you'll come up with the site - they have all the instructions you would need to build one.

allmightyhunter13 09-30-2009 07:23 PM

Great looking deer. I love how the Horns go from dark, to white tips!!

IL-Cornfed 10-01-2009 11:22 AM

Great lookin' pix, thanks for sharing them with us.

Is he just a 2 1/2 year old buck this season? Man, he has some potential and I'm sure will be a legitimate trophy class buck in just another season or two.

Siman08/OH 10-01-2009 07:41 PM

That picture quality is UNREAL

whitetailhunter10 10-04-2009 04:17 PM

gross144 10-06-2009 02:53 AM

Dave, amazing buck again. I hunt in chenago probably 1/2 hr or less from you and your photos every year really get me pumped up just imagining that a buck like that can walk past my stand.

What type of camera (not trail cam) are you using to take most of your pics, the quality is unreal. Would love to have a great camera to be able to take some pics like that.

Western MA Hunter 10-06-2009 09:17 AM

That is a beautiful animal.. .hope you get him..
