It is a well known fact that the Coyote run with their tail tip pointed to the ground. The photo would indicate that it should be a Wolf however, recent DNA studies as Allen has pointed out, have documented the Eastern Coyote do now carry a Wolf strain of at least some percentage. Western Coyote average weight range between 15-25 pounds in healthy condition. The Eastern Coyote average 30-50 pounds and the documented CoyWolf strain here in NH anyways, have weighed in excess of 70+ lbs in the Northern part of the State.

I would have to say it is a Wolf or some Hybrid of Wolf.
