Need a new cam
I have a d40 but want somthing with a faster trigger. I have around 100 cabelas bucks. Any one cam stand out?
|
No. save your money.
|
Wait till you get to $200
|
Ok then what?
|
For $200.00 there are alot more, and better choices. For better trigger speed, go with Cuddeback Capture, not the IR version, Bushnell Trophycam, or Scoutguard. These three cameras all have great trigger speed. Go to www.trailcampro.com to read about any of these cameras. Hope this helps.

Blessings.....Pastorjim Yup, nailed it. I like the I-40 in that price range too, but not for a faster trigger. Wayyy too slow. |
my i-40 doesnt have the worst trigger speed...i just set it up about 25-30 feet away and it always captures them...but they do occasionally get blurry
but i would go with an i-40 (excellent camera and battery life- about a year for me) or the cuddeback capture flash (excellent camera also but good trigger speed and batteries dont last as long) |
I would go with cuddeback! Best camera i have ever owned, and i owned stealth cams, moultrie, and bushnell.

I agree with everyone else.
Save your money until you have at least $200-225. I have a Scoutguard SG550 ($209) and a Cuddeback Capture ($199) and love'm both. Those $100 cams have poor trigger speeds. |
I don't know nuttin'...but I just ordered a Scoutguard SG550 & a CB Capture because of the info on this forum. The only problem is as far as I know the Scoutguards are back ordered everywhere.
