The Moultrie I-40 has got nothing but great reviews from what i have seen. Its a top of the line camera if you ask me.

My I40 does great too, even in -20f it's easy on batteries.
|
UPDATE - just checked this I40 again and the battery life is advising 55% with another 300 pic's taken (mostly night pic's). this means it has now been clicking away on a tree for 5 months and the batteries still have 55% life. i did go ahead and replace them this trip. i try not to let the batteries get below 50%, this way the trigger times will not be effected. i bet i could have got an easy 7-8 months out of a set of batteries.

Hey I have never bothered to do a software update on any of my Moultrie M40's, M60's or I40's, probably because I've never had a problem with them, has anyone done the updates? Does it make any difference?

Thanks Patorjim,
I'll try updating one of mine this weekend. |
I have two I40 's out for 3 months so far this year. I have the same batteries that were in it during last deer season through the muzzleloader season. I brought them in end of Dec. put them back out this May. They are still at 60% battery. These cameras are great but the only thing I don't like is the slow trigger speed. Anyone notice this same dislike?

is there a way to update software online or do you have to send in cams??
