Here is a pic from the Bushnell Trophy Cam. It's a infrared type, cost is $199 (basic model) has a 2 year warranty and has a supposed 1 year battery life. I have only had this cam for 11 weeks, so far I really like mine. I'm not trying to sell it, only trying to help.

I would recommend the moultrie i40, I have two of them and also a moultrie i60. I believe you can't get much better then the i40 for the price, roughly $189-$220. As far as I have noticed the only difference between the i60 and i40 is a inch x inch viewer which is extreemly difficult to view, defiantly not worth a $100 more!

I agree with pretty much everyone from above but the one I have had the best luck with (and the least returns at the shop I work at) is the DLC Covert II... I bought one and i am very impressed with the picture quality, sensitivity and the battery life. all for about $219

plus its small and camo, easy to hide from sticky fingered trespassers!

I just bought a ScoutGuard 550. Fast, good range, long battery life, under 200.00, love it!
