Im looking to get my first trail cam and with the reviews and price, this camera caught my eye. Does anyone have first hand experience with these cams? Also, i saw that it is compatible with only windows. I have a mac so I was wondering if there was any way to use it with a mac or maybe recommend a cam that is compatible with a mac.

I have 1 and it has been a great camera for me. Shoots great pics decent video. The only thing I have had problems with on mine is the time doesn't stay correct. But for the price its a good choice. I don't know about mac ready but it takes an sd card. So if you have an sd slot on your computer, I'd think it would work. Don't know for sure though.

I like it, the price is good. Like Mottz said it does lose time. The pics look ok. You spend more you will get a cam that takes better quailty pics. The link below is from my cams "D40"

I think that it takes good pictures for the money. It is very easy to use as well that is a big plus in my books. And like Mottz said you should be fine if you have a SD Slot.

Here are a couple sample pictures from my camera.

I had a D-40 and traded it for a Bushnell 9204. I just thought the camera was bulky and the plastic turn snaps easy to break. The Bushnell was simpler, with better trigger time. The battery life on the Bushnell was very poor however until I modified it with a 6v external battery and it been great.

I think I could take the card out of the trail camera and put it in to my digital camera to upload them on my computer. Not sure though

Don't most computers have SD card slots? I don't have a mac so I have no idea though. For the price, I love the D40's. Good luck, have fun..
