He doesn't appear to be over 3.5 Either!:hail: Easier to say than do: If let go this year, he will EASY be 160+ class next, all things being equal. I'd like to have that problem:):) He is def. a slammer.

crenth 07-12-2009 10:52 AM

He's quite a BEAUTY!!! Good luck chasing him!

I can't even see him being a 3 yr old right now, but he almost has to be. I did take a P&Y 140 class 2 1/2 year old 10 point that was aged by the MDNR, so stranger things have happened.
If I were to be guaranteed just a 50/50 chance he would be around next year I would let him walk in a heartbeat, seriously.

Actually I did refer to him as Freak Daddy on a Michigan website, but you earned and hold that honor here. Thats your assignment Caleb. I'll let you name him here...

Wouldn't be all that unusual in southern MI. We have a dividing line for shotgun/rifle use and southern MI is in the shotgun zone where the bucks tend to live a little longer. In the northern half of the lower penninsula rifles are allowed and by far the majority use them for the extended range/accuracy. Very few of the bucks live past 1 1/2 years of age unfortunately. One reason why this guy is a little special.
