First Blood!!
 

I'm not sure who drew first blood here but I know who has to visit the local body shop tommorow. This morning I was on my way to work at the hospital at 0530 when a big doe decided it was time to cross the road. Anyway, this was the result.







This is the car I drive to work and it is pretty old, although it does run good and get's good gas mileage. I'm thinking it will probably betotalled out. Lucky for me I have good insurance. Anyway, now it's on baby, just wait till the season starts!!

Sorry about your car, its a sight what some people will do for some venison :D:D.

Went back after work at 6:30pm and I could find no trace of anything. Course there is corn on both sides of the road and it could have easily went in a few rows and died and I would never see it. I can't imagine that anything could havesurvived that impact.

Wow! That doe did a number on your car. Just be glad it wasn't the driver side!

Sorry to hear that Jim. That is some serious damage.I wish those deer would look both ways before crossing.

Sorry about your car, I always go on high alert when theirs corn on both sides of the road, you just cant look for them ahead of time.

Careful there PastorJim. I don't think it legal to use Chryslers for deer in Indiana.

God was taking care of you PasterJ. My wife has a friend who's husband was killed last month in North Carolina when he hit a deer and it came through the windshield.

That's no good. I'd say she's totaled too.

Car is totaled, just heard from the Ins. company Friday morning. She and I are driving about eighty miles this A.M. to Ohio to check out a car I found on the internet. Ford Escape hybrid, gotta save the planet ya know, although that job's already been taken. We had been thinking of buying a new car anyway, so I guess this forces our hand. If any of you all have had any experience with this vehicle, give me a heads-up.

I am sorry to here about your car as well PastorJim. I am glad that you was not hurt by it though. I know what kind of dealings those insurance companies actually gives you though. I totaled an avenger once and did they give me a going over on that one..
