I would put money on it that it is a cat of some sort whether a huge house cat or bobcat but not a mt lion they have long tails. I would bet lots of money it isa feline. And bobcats dont always have stripes

Possible cat-bob type- marking the tree. Appears it's posture is backing up into the trunk.

long body ;wide gab between the ears ;long light color ears;short hair ;flat back ; my vote goes to bobcat. I have plenty on this side of the ohio line.

i say a bobcat too, there are no stripes to be a racoon and the ears look too big for a racoon, and it does look like a point at end of tail.
