Batteries Finally Go Dead
 

I bought my stealth camera IR540 with 8 C batteries and my batteries have been lasting through these dates with no replacements. (I brought the camera home for a week at a time just to upload them to the computer and empty the cards). January 10-January 25, January 31-February 8, February 14-March 1, March 7-March 15, March 21-March 29, April 4-April 19.
Thats about 74 days.

From January 31-February 8 and March 7-15 it was set on videos every 5 minutes.
Then the rest of the dates were pictures at 3 or 4 pictures every minute.

I honestly dont know if this is a good period of time for 8 C batteries but I have been very happy with this camera. It takes very good quality pictures and pretty good videos. The only time the pictures are a little blury are when the animal is running or ata jog.

I feel with todays camerasif somebody can gettwoto four months out of a set of batteries thatsgood.

i get about 4 months (or 2100 pictures) out of my Moultrie I40 using 6 d cell batteries

My I540IR batteries last a good long while also. I have been impressed, not by how long they last but by how many pics and videos they take. My last set of batteries took over 1300 pictures and 25 minutes of video before they finally gave up. I think that is pretty good compared to my wildview I had that was a flash camera.

i got4.5 months out of a scoutguard and it still had 2/3 power left when i did change the batteries. some said cause it wasnt taking alot of pics, but it did take a ton of pics. i had it set on 3 pics per triggering and on a 15 second delay.
