Just heard a rumor that BMC is not going to make ScoutGuard SG550 anymore. I thought it was interesting to share.

What would be the reason for that? I thought it was one of the best selling cameras out there right now.

I received information this morning from direct inquiries to the manufacturer in China. No problems exists and the production and delivery will continue as usual. The rumor posted here is false.

We also understand that the division of the factory that you correspond with is not the authority that decides whether or not the SG-550shipments will be interrupted as you said.A contact person was physically in the BMC factory yesterday and spoke face to face to the correct individuals and they assured that there will absolutely be no interruption in any shipments of the SG-550 tothe distributorshere. Though they did say that the shipments to the Canadian distributors would cease. Please stop these unnecessary rumors, they have no place on this forum unless they have merit.[/align]
